Sui Jackson

Sui is a mixed-media visual artist.  His artwork is driven by his desire to express the living natural world in a mass-produced environment, often using found or recycled materials and industrial processes to create pieces in glass, paper, print, cast metal and ceramic.

Based in Canberra, he has also exhibited in Shanghai, Singapore and Toyama, had residencies in Japan and the USA.  He has worked as a consulting artist with Art Glass Solutions in the Asia Pacific region, run numerous wood-fired glass demonstrations, and twice had his work selected for New Glass Review.

Sui currently teaches glassblowing at the Canberra Glassworks. He holds a Bachelor of Visual Art (Glass) from the Australian National University (2009), and studied Ceramics at Holmesglen (2006).
