"We - Christine Cholewa & Deb Jones - began working together over seven years ago when we realized it was more fun working together. The collaboration started at JamFactory where we managed the daily operations of the hot glass studio, training program and studio commissions. In 2012 the collaboration became CHEB art. While we maintain separate exhibition practices, we work together on larger public art projects and some exhibition work. We strive to make work that looks great, functions well and is thoughtful. We have been said to be artists who respond very strongly to the brief. We do not use one material or one set approach when working on our public commissions. With each job we carry our aesthetic, skills, and knowledge with us and look at each artwork opportunity individually."
